Madalyn received another envelope today, this time from some good friends in New York. Donna and Bob are good friends of mine. Donna is a teacher assistant, and her and I used to work together (that's how we met!). We became quick friends and have stayed in touch throughout the years.
They included a note for mommy and a letter to Madalyn telling her all about themselves, their family, and the area where they live. There were a couple of photos in there as well. Including the photos has really helped Madalyn connect with who is sending the envelopes (she absolutely loves pictures!). They also included a map of the county they live in. Madalyn really enjoyed learning about the map, and we found quite a few family members and friends on there including Donna and Bob.
